        BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION

      Bookings can be made via the website (www.Navala.com.au), phone, email or by appointment with our friendly management staff.

      Tentative bookings will only be held for two weeks and bookings can only be confirmed upon receipt of deposit.

      Navala requires that final guest numbers be confirmed 24 hours prior to the function date.

      DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT METHODS

      A minimum spend is required for private functions, this amount is at the discretion of management based on the space, number of guests, time/date and nature of the event.

      A deposit of $500 will be required for any private function space.

      If you wish to book the entire venue, a deposit equal to 50% of the set minimum spend is required.

      FEES AND SURCHARGES

      Due to the nature of our service and the amount of preparation and staff required, a service charge of 6% of the total bill will be applicable.

      Surcharges may apply for public holidays or special events and additional charges may also apply for any damage to Navala and/or Riverside Centre property.

      CANCELLATION POLICY

      A minimum of 7 days notice is required for cancellation of functions bookings and a minimum of 14 days notice is required for cancellation of a booking for the entire venue. Notice must be given in writing and failure to do so within this time will risk loss of deposit.

      If a booking is cancelled within the required timeframe, the deposit will be refunded in full.

      SEATING AND CONFIGURATION

      Seating plans and configuration is dependent on the area and the amount of guests attending however, we are quite flexible.

      We recommend that you visit the space in person and speak to our friendly management staff about the layout in advance – give us a call, send us an email or visit our website (www.Navala.com.au) if you wish to arrange a time to meet.

      LIQUOR LICENSING – NOISE RESTRICTIONS AND MINORS

      Navala is a fully licensed restaurant, therefore patrons are not permitted to BYO.

      Our current license permits the responsible service of alcohol from 10am-1am.

      Please advise staff in advance if this will be an issue so that we can apply for an extension of our license for your event.

      We operate in accordance with the principles of Responsible Service of Alcohol Laws and reserve the right to ask for photo identification at any time.

      All Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and will be asked to vacate the premises after 10.00pm.

      Navala staff reserve the right to deny service of alcohol to any person deemed to be intoxicated, violent or disorderly.

      Navala staff reserve the right to deny entry to any person deemed to be intoxicated, violent or disorderly and any person caught smoking outside of a designated area may also be removed.

      We ask that guests respect our other diners and neighbouring businesses by keeping noise to a minimum.

      Unfortunately due to regulations, Navala staff reserve the right to ask that any loud music or noise deemed disruptive or against regulation be turned down.

      EXTRA REQUIREMENTS/EQUIPMENT HIRE

      Guests are welcome to bring with them any equipment they might need for their function (please advise staff in advance if this is the case) however, our staff are more than happy to arrange hire of any equipment you might need.

      If you do require us to make additional arrangements for you we ask that you please request this in advance.

      Please speak to our friendly management staff if you require access to function space outside of your booked hours for set up/pack up etc. and please be advised that if equipment is left at the venue outside of booked hours Navala cannot be held.

      FOOD MENU OPTIONS

      Our à la carte menu is available any time as requested for private functions only.

      We ask that any guests with dietary requirements ordering from the à la carte menu please pre-select their meal and inform staff. Both main and dessert dishes must be preselected and sent through one week in advance, Parties must choose to order from either the Churrasco menu OR the à la carte, tables may not order from both menus.

      Churrasco meats may vary, subject to availability.

      At Navala, we pride ourselves on offering a selection that caters for guests with a variety of preferences and dietary requirements. We can happily provide a Churrasco BBQ menu that indicates which foods are gluten free and nut free, guests with severe allergies must note however that while we always endeavour to do our best, we unfortunately cannot guarantee against cross-contamination due to the nature of our traditional cooking methods.

      EXTRA REQUIREMENTS/EQUIPMENT HIRE

      DRINK MENU OPTIONS

      Bar Tab

      Bar tabs may be increased at any time during the course of the function.

      To check the status of your bar tab or increase the limit, speak to our friendly management staff for an update.

      Once the set limit is reached, guests are welcome to individually purchase additional beverages if you do not wish to extend the bar tab.

      For functions with 40+ guests we ask that beverages be preselected for stock control purposes.

      While we only require final guest numbers 24 hours prior, we ask that beverage pre-selections be confirmed with staff one week in advance to ensure that we allow enough time for delivery of additional stock.

      Table service provided. A Private bartender may be available at no additional cost however; this is restricted to certain function areas only.

      Beverage Packages

      Once the beverage package period has ended, guests are welcome to individually purchase additional beverages.

      For functions with 40+ guests we ask that beverages be preselected for stock control purposes.

      Guests individually order beverages as standard.

      Private bartender not available on consumption unless drinks are preselected.
